ABOUT ME

Devin McDuffee is a multifaceted professional with over a decade of experience as a coach and teacher. His expertise extends across various disciplines, holding certifications as a NASM trainer, mobility specialist, Tae Kwon Do teacher, Yoga/meditation instructor, and physical theater performer and teacher. His educational journey started at Vassar College where he studied dance and physical performance. From there he studied at the esteemed Moscow Art Theater, where he delved into the nuances of partner acrobatics and physical conditioning, complementing his over 12 years of extensive dance training across diverse styles.

After graduating college Devin joined two movement companies, One Year Lease and Convergences Theater collective. These two groups allowed Devin to teach a combination of dance, acrobatics, and conditioning classes to groups of students in the US and abroad. While living in NYC Devin worked at Equinox as a trainer, before establishing his own private coaching business.

 

Presently based in Los Angeles, Devin shares his expertise by instructing core and mobility work at The Stronghold Climbing Gym as well as designing and implementing strength and conditioning programs for private clients.  He provides physical therapy to the adaptive climbing group, showcasing his commitment to inclusivity and accessibility in fitness.

Passionate about bridging conventional fitness practices with expressive movement modalities, Devin brings a unique blend of traditional fitness, dance, and creative movement into his teaching approach.

Continuing his pursuit of knowledge and professional growth, Devin is currently pursuing a Doctorate in physical therapy with Tufts University.
